While you’re spending time with family and friends this weekend and Monday, celebrating the Independence of our great nation, take some time to think about all of the small things we are free to say and do without fear of government intrusion. Now, think back to 10, 20, 30 years ago and what differences in our freedoms you see from then to now. It’s clear that a lot has changed over the years. But, as the times become more perilous and our country grows more diverse, is it necessary that the freedoms and principles this great nation was founded upon change or more frequently disappear from view?
For cigar lovers, this is an important question. We are seeing baseless attacks on our products more frequently and fervantly than ever, but there is still hope. We have had some significant wins in recent weeks all across the country. Below is a short list to highlight a few. More information and ways to get involved at www.CigarRights.org. While these successes are huge, we can not let up one bit. If we let down our guard for even a short while, we stand to lose everything.
